The Music Department’s mission is to usher God’s presence in by our praise and worship. Enriching and enhancing services by using the anointing, skill, and talents, to create and maintain the atmosphere, ushering in the spirit of the Lord. The object of The Music Department is to win souls, and our desire is to lead seekers to the feet of Jesus Christ where they can find salvation. Ultimately our position is to create, maintain, and protect the atmosphere for the Word of God to be presented to the people
• Jurisdictional Praise Team
The Praise and Worship Team is here to worship God, and lead others into true worship. This is the atmosphere in which God is free to move. God created music as a means of worship, as a way to enter into His presence. Music was given to control the atmosphere and the worship team is here to help create the atmosphere for God to manifest Himself to the people, meeting needs, breaking yokes, setting captives free, etc. Together, we learn to flow with the Spirit/Anointing, and the goal of the Praise Team is to set an atmosphere whereby we may see His glory!
• Jr. State Choir (ages 12-25)
Jr. State seeks to teach young minds to focus on effective worship through song. In a youthfully upbeat fashion, the Junior State Choir is set to usher the presence of God into the service. The Youth Choir ministry is a great means to draw other young people into the kingdom of God. The goal of the Youth Choir is to aide in growing young lives for Christ, showing young hearts the love of God through music.
Jurisdictional Choir
Psalms 95:1-2
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms.
The Jurisdictional or State Choir’s mission is to exalt God by utilizing our musical gift to sing His praise and tell of His salvation, goodness, and love through song. Our goal is to be lead of the Spirit so that our songs are pleasing to God, and that we are in alignment with the mission of the entire music department in preparing the hearts of the people, for the word of God.
